Jowita Alaalatoa

I joined Olsen Family Law as an Associate Attorney in February 2026, bringing a deep commitment to family law and a belief that how a client experiences the legal process matters as much as the outcome.

I earned my bachelor's degree from San Jose State University and my Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2024, graduating with a specialization in Litigation and Public Interest Law. During law school, I served as a judicial law clerk for judges at the Santa Clara County Superior Court, which gave me a firsthand understanding of how the courts work and what judges expect. I received multiple CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for my work in legal writing and research, and I was admitted to the California Bar in 2025.

Family law is deeply personal work. I practice in Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, and San Mateo counties, and I take seriously the responsibility of guiding clients through decisions that will shape what comes next for them and their families. My goal is always the same. Every person I work with should feel informed, supported, and genuinely heard.

Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband, playing soccer with my son, and discovering new restaurants.
